We are incredibly excited to announce Spinning® Nation 2014! The event is back and better than ever. This year we are raising money for the American Heart Association’s Go Red For Women® campaign.
This collaboration is a natural fit, as cardiovascular and heart heath are very important to us at Spinning. Heart disease is the number one killer of women, accounting for more deaths than all forms of cancer combined. It is known as the silent killer, but with your help and participation, we can raise awareness about heart disease.
One of the main goals of the event is to raise $250,000 and awareness about heart disease. With the right information, education and care heart disease can be treated and even prevented.
We are also excited to announce that Reno Wilson from the hit CBS series Mike and Molly, along with his wife Coco Fausone Wilson, will be the spokespeople for the event! They both are passionate about Spinning and being heart healthy and will be hosting a special event and leading a ride.
The events will be happening across the country simultaneously on April 26, and will be a minimum of two hours. There is a cost associated to participate, $50 per hour, with 100% of funds raised going directly to American Heart Association. The extended class will offer an exciting, fundraising challenge and serve as a reminder of what a healthy heart can accomplish in endurance, compassion and philanthropy. How can you help? To start, beginning March 12, 2014 you can sign up to participate in a Spinning Nation event. If you are unable to attend an event you can still participate by donating to a participant, facility or the overall cause. Please help us spread the word, raise awareness and show our support for the fight against heart disease.
Did we mention that you can win a custom Spinner® bike? That’s right, the top five fundraisers will a custom bike! So what are you waiting for?
